Improving Health Care Infrastructure
Our ground research over the years has identified the lack of basic amenities and infrastructure at health care centers in towns and villages across the country. Basic facilities like waiting areas for patients, washing machines, stationery for doctors, computers, a shed to stand under are only a few of the things unavailable to these clinics that serve up to 500 patients a day. Poor hygiene at these medical centers is another major concern.
We aspire to help these centers by providing them with basic facilities that would help smoothen their daily operations.
Here are a few projects completed in this segment:
1. PUBLIC HEALTH CLINIC AT MOLARBAND - COMPLETED WITH THE ROTARY CLUB OF DELHI SOUTH EAST
THE PROJECT
To enhance the infrastructure, improve and sustain the environment for the inhabitants of the village, Jaitpur who visit the public health clinic at Molarband for medical aid and consultation.
Nearly 400-500 patients visit the clinic daily.
We aspire to help the center with:
Basic civic amenities
Drinking water
Proper sanitation and toilets
Shelter and seating arrangements for patients
Medical disposable equipment
Furniture for staff
Computers for tasks like record keeping, patient history etc.
The project has the support of the Delhi Health Dept. and WHO
THE BENEFICIARIES
Approximately 450 people in need of medical aid daily over 330 days in a year, 1,48,500 people per annum.
Families of patients
Will benefit the staff at the clinic with better working conditions, growth opportunities and a cleaner workplace.
